Pittsburgh Planning Commission members heard proposals for another 134 units â 48 on Stanwix Street and 86 in the Cultural District â slated for the Golden Triangle. The Stanwix Street project involves SHIR Capital's conversion of the former Quality Suites Hotel at 625 Stanwix Street into 48 residential units.
The conversion project is part of SHIR Capital's ongoing efforts to reposition underperforming hotel assets into quality multifamily housing in the Pittsburgh market.
